Food, Glorious Food…

The Groes Inn is all about the food. We have two dining spaces: A handsome dining room with a bright, airy conservatory and a heart-warming pub with cosy log fires and chalkboard menus. Food-loving locals flock to The Groes Inn to get their fill (try saying that fast!) They love that our menus change reguarly to reflect what’s good and fresh, it means there’s always some new tastes them to discover; where possible we source our produce from local suppliers.

Step inside to enjoy local ales, hearty food and escape the hubbub of everyday life. Alternatively, alfresco dining is available on sun-blessed days.

Well-behaved hounds are welcome in some parts of the bar and gardens. Call 01492 650545 to book a table either in the bar or dining room.

OUR DINING ROOM – BIG FLAVOURS SERVED IN INTIMATE SURROUNDINGS

The dining room is made up of two distinct areas: the traditional dining room (stylish, snug and welcoming) and the conservatory (light-filled and laid-back with climbing vines). Big on flavour and quality, the dining room is where Chef serves up a seasonal bevvy of great-to-eat treats. Our award-winning menus are brimming with local produce; firm favourites include lamb cutlets, dry-aged premium Welsh steaks and our silk pie. Prepared with passion and served with style, our hearty dishes are loved by locals and praised by weary travellers. If you’re a fan of real food and real ale, it’s a must.

our bar – REAL ALES, REAL FOOD AND REAL HOSPITALITY

For an informal dining date, grab a table in the bar. Decked out in traditional pub style, you’ll find our specials on the chalkboard, a roaring fire in the hearth and real ales on tap. Come on in for local ales, hearty food, a chat with our friendly bar team, or just a lazy afternoon away from the hubbub of everyday life. Alfresco dining is available on sun-blessed days.
