What’s On

We live in a wonderful part of the Welsh Countryside and come rain or shine, there’s always so much to do at the Groes Inn. From our endless hikes and walks for dog-lovers to the Groes Inn’s fantastic proximity to an enviable assortment of natural and man-made attractions, there’s so much to do in this neck of the woods – and that’s not including our series of special events which offer fun for all.

G&T Day – Sunday 9th April

If you’re a gin lover, you’ll want to mark this one in your calendar! Some might say the Groes Inn’s G&T Day is just like Christmas, your birthday and your wedding day wrapped up all in one – or even better than that.  Experience the Groes Inn’s G&T Day for yourself, on Sunday the 9th of April.

Easter Sunday – Sunday 16th April

Celebrate Easter Sunday with us on Sunday the 16th of April. We’ve got the hats, we’ve got the food – just bring yourself and yours, and we’re on to have a fantastic day of fun and festivities.

Victorian Experience Day – Sunday, 29th April

What better way to celebrate the history of our handsome Inn in Snowdonia than with a Victorian Experience? You and yours are invited to come in and sample food from this oh-so-interesting era with us, at a genuine Victorian Coaching Inn.

Celtic Fest – May 1st

We’re celebrating May Day in true traditional Celtic style. Dance around out maypole, pick the May Queen and bring your own Hawthorn for traditional May Day festivities at the Groes.

3 Peak Cocktail Challenge – May 13th

For those who don’t fancy the challenge of the real 3 Peaks, we’re offering a more attractive alternative. Drink all three of our specially made cocktails (Ben Nevis, Scafell & Snowdon), and receive the fourth free.

Triathlon Day – May 20th

A triathlon doesn’t always have to involve sports. Try our special and very reasonable 3 for 1 menu on May 20th.

Boat Show – June 11th

The annual All Wales Boat Show is taking place on June 11th on the Conwy Marina. If you can manage to get your boat to The Groes Inn from Conwy without power, you’ll get a free pint on us!

Father’s Day – June 18th

Show how much you appreciate your Dad this Father’s Day by treating him to a delicious meal at our restaurant. Our brilliant seasonal menu and cosy atmosphere makes the Groes Inn the perfect place to spoil your dad this June.

Armed Forces Day – June 24th

In remembrance of those fallen and the heroes that are still among us, we’ll be celebrating the Armed Forces Day on June 24th.

Bluegrass Sunday – July 9th

On July 9th, we’ll be celebrating the summer with live music playing out in the beer garden. We’ll be serving up refreshing Pimm’s and Gin & Tonics whilst you eat, enjoy the sunshine and enjoy yourselves!
