Set in the canopy of the trees just shy of Betws y Coed- only 20 minutes away from our fantastic Inn. There’s so many things to see and do at Zip World Fforest for a wide range of ages, such as journeying through the treetops on Zip Safari, or bouncing from the boughs with Treetop Nets. You can freefall on Plummet, or soar over the treetops on Skyride!

Zip World Slate Caverns, Blenau Ffestiniog
This amazing attraction is at Llechwedd slate quarry, a quarry which exported 2900 tonnes of Welsh slate before demand ran dry in the 1960s. The Ffestiniog Railway – one of the most fun attractions in North Wales was developed as an extension of the Llechwedd slate quarry. The Ffestiniog Railway has been joined by the Zip World Slate Caverns, which gives you so many things to do. From Titan, the first ever 4-person Zip Line in Europe to Bounce Below and Zip World Caverns, you don’t have to pray for good weather to have things to do at this attraction!

Zip World Penrhyn Quarry, Bethesda
At an impressive 1.6km long and 370 metres deep, used to serve as the world’s largest slate quarry. Times have moved on but Penrhyn Quarry has something new and far more exciting; Velocity – the fastest zip line in the world, and the longest in Europe.
Reaching speeds of well over 100mph, Zip World Velocity truly is the closest you’ll ever get to flying. If it’s a little too much for you, you can watch zippers from the viewing area or even experience the Quarry tour on Zip World’s nifty red trucks.
