“Lovely Old Tavern with Fantastic Food”
The Groes Inn is a 500-year old coaching inn complete with wooden beams and a big hearth. The food was fantastic and staff very welcoming. I had the fillet steak medium rare, cooked to perfection, and ‘fat chips’. Hubby had the chicken supreme, accompanied by several tasty ‘Dragon’s Fire’ bitters. Visit if you can!
“So helpful and Great Food”
The staff at The Groes Inn could not have been more helpful, lovely atmosphere and the food was great, catered well for the children who had had a long journey up from England that afternoon.
“Very Enjoyable Meal”
My wife and I decided to call in at The Groes Inn since it was near to our touring caravan site. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the service was efficient. The food was excellent - both starter and main course. We shall return when we next visit the area.
