Had an evening meal here, and would definitely go again. I like to give constructive feedback so here goes, the chicken burger is amazing according to my son (autistic burger fan, so knows his burgers) and the brownie was good apparently. The lamb shank, was a little disappointing, had no lamb flavour at all and was somewhat stale on flavour, maybe it was near its sell by date? The chicken Milanese was nice but there just wasn’t enough of the gnocchi, it should have had pasta but they were out so gnocchi was accepted as an alternative. She felt it needed about another 10 pieces rather than the 20 as in the photo. The rest of the meal was great, we both had spotted dick, it was really good but really needed more custard, perhaps half way up or 3/4 up the small bowl they are served in would be better. The beer was spot on, all tasted fresh (the ales). Really nice ambience and I think the price is about right. I’d definitely go again

The Sunday sharer was brilliant, the atmosphere and building were both amazing.
The staff were very attentive and very welcoming.
This is a wonderful place to visit.

Fantastic Sunday roast today at the Groes Inn. We got the Sunday Roast Sharer for 2. Absolute value for money, the 3 meats cooked to absolute perfection, honestly I’ve never toasted beef so soft and the Gammon was so juicy, the turkey was melt in your mouth and the vegetables were seasoned perfectly. The roasts cooked beautifully crunchy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. Overall 5 stars doesn’t cut it for us absolutely divine
