In 1828 retired cotton manufacturer John Lees had a twinkle in his eye. Or maybe he’d had a bad pint and wanted to get things right. He bought some land at Middleton Junction and started making beer.
Come and join us to sample our fantastic cask ale range.

National Pinot Noir Day

12:00PM - 11.00PM

Pinot is a fantastic wine, but a temperamental grape. With its rich color and complex flavors, it is largely considered one of the most hedonistic wines ever made. Elegant and berry-lie, its velvet flavor is the perfect addition to any affair. Pinot Noir Day celebrates this wine and the regions of the world in which it’s cultivated.
Join us for a glass today!

National Dog Day

12:00PM - 9.00PM

This day encourages dog ownership of all breeds, mixed and pure, and embraces the opportunity for all dogs to live a happy, safe and abuse-free life. Dogs give us companionship; they keep us safe, and they aid those in need.
We always have complimentary dog treats, and lashings of cold water available.

Red Wine Day

12:00PM - 11.00PM

While August 29th is observed annually as Red Wine Day, it would be a shame to only celebrate one day a year. Perhaps this day is just a reminder to drink wine. We have a fantastic range of wines available.
